<p><span id="more-61"></span>There will be hands on portion in which you are asked to perform five skills which are selected randomly.  Here candidate is being watched in action and rated by a nurse evaluator.  This practical test gives CAN candidates the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to perform in any given situation.  Few skills generally asked in skill test are as listed below.</p>

<li>Performing passive range of motion for a knee and ankle, shoulder</li>

<li>Providing catheter care</li>
<li>Measuring and recording a patient&#8217;s weight , blood pressure</li>
<li>Recording radial pulse, and counting and recording respiration</li>
<li>Measuring urinary output and keeping record of it</li>
<li>Shampooing a patient&#8217;s hair in bed</li>
<li>Providing foot care , fingernail care or mouth care</li>
<li>Positioning a patient on their side</li>
